Mitt Romney Confirms: I am Pierre Delecto

Senator Mitt Romney confirmed that he operates the Twitter handle “Pierre Delecto.”

The account was first referenced by Romney during a profile of the Senator written by the Atlantic.  In the article, Mr. Romney references an account that he secretly runs.

Slate’s Ashley Feinberg was intrigued and set out to find Romney’s alt-account.

She was able to deduce which account was the Senator’s by going through several hundred accounts, reading the tweets of the accounts, who they followed, and timing.

Ms. Feinberg was able to find the likely account: Pierre Delecto.

This morning, Mr. Romney confirmed (in French, ironically) that Pierre Delecto was indeed him.
