Major Media Outlets Complain that Impeachment Hearing was “Boring”
Despite the fact that yesterday’s impeachment hearings were the first in a generation, and despite the fact that the president was implicated in the multiple crimes, major news outlets have been bemoaning the hearings as “boring.”
An NBC analyst complained that the hearings lacked “pizazz,” complaining, “ It was substantive, but it wasn't dramatic.”
Two Reuters reporters echoed this sentiment, writing an article titled, “Consequential, but Dull: Trump impeachment hearings begin without a bang.”
Without a hint of irony, the article states, “Unlike the best reality TV shows fireworks and explosive moments were scarce, however.”
