According to Lt. Col. Alexander S. Vindman, who was on the phone call between President Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, the White House did not release the full transcript of the call and, in fact, intentionally misled the public by omitting critical words and phrases.

Lt. Col. Vindman told Congress that the White House specifically did not include words from the transcript that implicate the President in a quid pro quo.

Vindman told the House today that President Trump specifically brought up Vice President Joe Biden and his son more times than the transcript shows, stated a conspiracy theory about a recording of Joe Biden, and specifically mentioned the company Burisma, which Hunter Biden worked for.

The White House, which has repeated implied that the transcript was complete, is now in further trouble, as the original "rough transcript" already showed an implied quid pro quo. Now, with Vindman's testimony, it is apparent there was an explicit quid pro quo.
