Representative Elijah Cummings Dies at 68

Longtime Baltimore Representative Elijah Cummings has died. He was 68 years old.

He died Thursday morning, according to his office. He passed away from "complications concerning longstanding health challenges."

Mr. Cummings served in Maryland's 7th Congressional District since 1996 and served as the chairman of the House Oversight and Reform Committee.
